New Handbag! The best one yet!

I made this one over the course of 1 week in little 10 and 20 minute bits of time I managed to chip out of my day.  This one was a little difficult as well.  The pattern was marketed as sew easy but I had to  change the way the handle was added as well as the way they would have you do the lining... glad I have skills.  Total price point without labor considered was under $15.00.  All materials were purchased from Joann and I paid full price for none of them with the help of coupons.

Animal prints are in!  It will most certainly work into my wardrobe and is perfect for summer:)

Here is my latest model off the finish line!  It was fairly easy until  I had to add those darn handles but I figured an easier way the next time I make this model.  This wouldn't be an every day purse for me.  I would use it on a specific event or outing.  Below is one example of how  I will style it with an outfit.  I plan to wear it on a Palm Springs adventure this summer for work.  This bag also pairs well with dark denim jeans and just about anything else for summer!

Meet my new passion for the summer.  Making handbags!

 This is the first one of many styles and patterns to come off the finish line.  Orders anyone?

The colors on this one will/would go very well with jeans or shorts, a cute pair of sandals, and a casual top.  I will be giving this one as a gift so I cannot discuss the price.  Let's just say that it cost me more time  than money.

I know, I know,  you have precious little of both these days but I think people appreciate nicely done handmade gifts.  I know I do.

The inside is lined, has a pocket to hide your cellphone, and features a magnetic snap closure.
Can't wait to make more!  I purchased all of the supplies at Joann.  I used coupons of course.
